When Exhaustion Feels Normal

Before my diagnosis, I had two small children—both under the age of three. Like most parents, I assumed the exhaustion I felt was just part of motherhood. Broken sleep, constant feeding, endless days—it was all normal, right? So, I dragged myself through each day, believing that if other parents were coping, I just had to push through too.
I was breastfeeding my baby, and at three months old, I was told my milk wasn’t enough for him. He wasn’t gaining the weight we expected, and he was always hungry—constantly attached, never satisfied. I was devastated. I had felt so strongly about breastfeeding, and now, it felt like my body was failing both of us.
Still, I kept going. I saw other parents with children the same age and convinced myself they must be feeling this level of exhaustion too. I had no idea something deeper was wrong.
The Moment I Knew Something Was Wrong
A year passed before I realised this wasn’t normal. I had been invited on a rare night out to celebrate a friend’s birthday—something I hadn’t done in so long. I was excited to enjoy myself.
Two hours in, I couldn’t pretend anymore. I felt weak, dizzy, and faint. I made my apologies and left early, feeling disappointed in myself. My skin was pale, and that night, I passed out. Then the fainting got worse. Once, twice a day.
The day I finally booked a doctor’s appointment was the day I sat down to write my name—and I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t remember which letters I needed or the order they should go in. My brain just…stopped working.
I was convinced I had a brain tumor. I was fully prepared for the worst.
The Diagnosis That Changed Everything
When my blood tests came back, the doctor told me I had pernicious anemia. I had never heard of it before.
My Doctor explained that my body couldn’t absorb vitamin B12 because of an autoimmune condition that attacks the intrinsic factor needed to convert it. That my body was dealing with a severe B12 deficiency. I just kept thinking:
“A VITAMIN?! How can all of this be caused by a vitamin?”
But it was. The fainting, the brain fog, the exhaustion, the struggle to breastfeed—all of it. My body had been completely deprived of something it desperately needed.
The Turning Point
I was given loading doses of B12 injections, and within weeks, the difference was incredible. I had energy again. My mind felt clear. I could function.
It took time for my body to fully recover, and even now, if I don’t stay on top of my routine, the symptoms return quickly. But this experience changed everything for me. It was my first real insight into just how important vitamins and nutrients are for our bodies.
Why I Started This Business
Like the old me, so many people walk around believing their fatigue is normal. They assume they’re just tired, stressed, or “getting older.” But often, their bodies are trying to tell them something. It might not be an autoimmune condition causing yours, there are so many other reasons for deficiency. Lifestyle, diet, natural aging process, and many more.
That’s why I started this business. Because I know firsthand how life-changing the right nutrients can be. I want to help others regain their energy, feel like themselves again, and stop accepting exhaustion as their baseline.
If any of this resonates with you, I’d love to help. Whether you’re struggling with fatigue, brain fog, or just want to feel your best, I’m here to guide you toward the right support for your body.
Let’s elevate your health together.

Wow... what a testament. And it just goes to show how one can take their suffering, and turn it into something fruitful. How many more people can experience healing now because of it?
